Select Device Manager, Ports (Com + Lpt) and double left click on the port you are

installing the printer on, e.g. Communications Port (Com1), and then choose Port

Settings.

Here make sure the Bits Per Second match up with what you selected in HPM Config,

e.g. 9600, 19200, and then click OK. If changes have been made then close HPM and

the re-open HPM.
