1.4.2 Replacing the Thermal Print Head

Step Action

1 Power off the ET6000 printer. Unplug the AC power cable for the unit.

The print head is sensitive to ESD.

2 Press the front panel release button. Lift the front panel up and out of the way.

3 Pull the print head release lever forward and lift the print head up and away from the platen.

4 Grip the stock firmly from the rear of the unit and remove it.
